Customise Your Chatbot Behavior

To customise the behavior and responses of your chatbot, follow the steps below:

  1. Step 1: Go to General Settings
    • Start by navigating to the General Settings of your chatbot. This is usually found in the main dashboard or settings panel of your chatbot platform.
  2. Step 2: Go to Model
    • Once you are in the General Settings, find and click on the β€œModel” section. This is where you can adjust the underlying model that your chatbot uses to process and respond to user inputs.
  3. Step 3: Change Base Prompt
    • In the Model section, look for the β€œBase Prompt” setting. This is the initial prompt that your chatbot uses to start conversations. Changing this will influence how your model behaves.

  4. Step 4: Changing the Model
    • Changing the model can also help in achieving better responses. While GPT-4 responds very well to complex queries, it is more expensive. Therefore, for general queries, GPT-3.5-turbo is a better choice. It provides a good balance between performance and cost.

Remember to save your changes before exiting the settings panel. Your chatbot’s behavior should now be updated according to the new Changes.
