To customise the behavior and responses of your chatbot, follow the steps below:
Start by navigating to the General Settings of your chatbot. This is usually found in the main dashboard or settings panel of your chatbot platform.
Once you are in the General Settings, find and click on the "Model" section. This is where you can adjust the underlying model that your chatbot uses to process and respond to user inputs.
In the Model section, look for the "Base Prompt" setting. This is the initial prompt that your chatbot uses to start conversations. Changing this will influence how your model behaves.
For example, if your base prompt is very formal, your chatbot will tend to respond in a formal manner. If it's more casual, your chatbot will respond in kind.
Changing the model can also help in achieving better responses. While GPT-4 responds very well to complex queries, it is more expensive. Therefore, for general queries, GPT-3.5-turbo is a better choice. It provides a good balance between performance and cost.
Remember to save your changes before exiting the settings panel. Your chatbot's behavior should now be updated according to the new Changes.
